Parents, Guardians and Students, As a teacher, time is precious. We need to manage our time to grade papers/projects, put lessons together, talk/email to students/parents/guardians who need questions answered, manage our life outside of school, etc. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not managing this blog properly. I don't feel like I'm communicating properly with parents/guardians. This blog is not beneficial enough for you, me and the students. What I've decided to do instead is start a Classroom OneNote and use OneNote instead of the Mme Kuehnhold website/Blog. On OneNote it's easier for me to add projects, work, instructions for the students and keep the parents/guardians up to date. So far, I have included all my dayplans since September, as well as the schedule for the day. I've also included recent lessons in French which they will need for next weeks (Monday, November 12) mini quiz on les determinants. Every week or so, the students will get a mini quiz on the different category of words found in the French language. For example, what is an article, verb, adjective, noun, preposition, adverb.... What is the use of this word, how to find it in a sentence, the different types of, .... In French it's important to know these things to be able to write properly. It strengthens your language skills and helps you understand things better in French. I'll include all the big projects that the students are working on and maybe some activity sheets depending on what they'll be doing with them in the future. Next week, on November 15th, Tania Mason will coming to teach up how to use Teams and OneNote effectively. I've heard great things about the app Teams.
